Interim, 2022 is a participatory work that invites the audience to draw with paint pens on steel sculptures. The work was part of the Good Neighbours exhibition at Nirox Sculpture park in Johannesburg, South Africa. By writing on the sculpture with paint pens, the audience would effectively coat the objects in messages and prevent rust to some extent. The work would then be removed after the exhibition, cleaned and re-exhibited to a new audience. The debris that was on the surface of the objects will be collected and transformed into an artwork on its own.
